This is the primary damage reducing stat in the game. The bar up top of the stats panel is their total health pool and the green bar is the remaining health that they may have and any black in this bar represents missing health. These stats can be found when clicking on any unit or going into the character panel of any Lord or agent. In Total War, there are stats for both the Lords and agents in the game as well as the units of your army.
